1 cup butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon almond extract
2¼ cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flavorings. Stir in flour. Press through a cookie gun on a cold cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes at 375 degrees. You can add a few drops of food coloring to the cream mixture if you want to have a colored cookie, but I like them white. You can also sprinkle colored sugar on the cookies before baking to add color.

I usually double this recipe.
I leave out the almond because I don't like that flavor.
I leave out the salt because I use salt butter.
