Mom's Pie Crust
4 cups flour
1½ teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1¾ cups crisco
1 egg
½ cup cold water
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Mix first three ingredients together with whisk. Cut crisco into flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Mix egg with cold water and vinegar and add to flour mixture. Form into a ball. This can be made in an electric mixer. Crust can be used right away or divide into four balls, wrap in plastic and freeze until needed. This is enough for two double crust pies. Bake as indicated by pie recipe.
